EasyMode: Heart Leaf Vine

How to care for a heart leaf vine, the easy care guide to growing your beautiful jungle vines.

Where it’s from

The philodendron heart leaf vine looks very similar to a pothos. However, the leaves on the philodendron vine are softer and less waxy. These Vines are from south America and normally vine up a tree and across the forest floor.

Water

These plants needs less water than you think! They like to be watered every 7-10 days or when the moisture meter is at dry in the first two inches of soil. These plants are prone to over watering. Make sure you have well draining soil and a pot with drainage holes.

Light

These plants are super versatile in there lighting needs. They can take bright indirect light and low light and they can even grow in office fluorescent light. What ever you got they will grow but ideally they like bright indirect light.

Don’t over love

These plants are super easy, they will climb up or cascade down whatever you choose. they are the perfect office plant and the perfect plant for beginners. Don’t be in a rush to repot it. Instead look for signs of needing repot, such as slower than expected growth and growing out of the pot.
